TransID
offers a comprehensive line of proximity, barcode, and card
swipe (magnetic
stripe) products for use in commercial and residential
environments. In contrast with
RFID, these types of AIDC technologies are utilized where tagged
or badged personnel and assets to be identified will be static
or moving at slow speed and in close proximity (typically less
than 36") to the readers. Applications include parking and
access control, facility security, container and trailer seals,
manufacturing and supply chain automation, retail inventory, and

TransID
offers MinionNet®
technology as a superior asset tracking and telemetry solution
utilizing two-way intelligent wireless radios called Minions™.
Minions are small package devices with extremely low power
dissipation and an even lower overall cost of ownership.
MinionNet local processing capability permits exception
reporting and does not require polling of every device to
determine if out-of-spec conditions or other types of alarm
situations exist. Minion devices can handle multiple
applications and are able to effectively communicate among
themselves, sharing and passing data via their self-configuring
mobile ad-hoc network. To assure simple and rapid integration
into client applications, the MinionNet system interfaces easily
with all existing wired and wireless local and wide area
networks (LAN/WAN). A wide range of capabilities assures
superior solutions for a breadth of applications, whether
“mobile-to-fixed”, “mobile-to-mobile” or “fixed-to-fixed.”
Applications include traffic management, yard management,
equipment location, auto and heavy equipment sales and rental
inventory, and any other process that requires the reliable and
automatic collection of presence and status of assets or
personnel in a dynamic environment. To find out more,
please contact us. |
